Developing ambassadors of the Lord Jesus Christ to impact eternity

    Jackson Baptist Church Student Ministries exists to equip students through the discipleship process with the means necessary to develop their talents and spiritual gifts that God has given them that they would become strong Christian leaders making an impact for Jesus Christ. (1 Timothy 4:12)

    We are commited to teaching students the Word of God, providing a fun, safe loving environment that will allow students to grow in their faith, develop an attitude of servanthood, and a heart that desires to see God glorified in all things. The goal is to develop students into ambassadors for Jesus Christ and seeing their potential in Christ fulfilled. (Jeremiah 29:11)

    We have both Junior and Senior High Youth Groups. Junior High youth group (6th to 8th grade) which meets on Monday nights from 6:30pm - 8:30 pm and Senior High youth group (9th to 12th grade) which meets on Sunday nights from 6pm - 8pm. Both Senior High and Junior High youth groups are held in the youth center (upstairs annex) located on the side of JBC campus which is detached from the main building.

   JBC Student Ministries assists students with growing in their faith through personal devotions, Bible studies, talking about life issues in the light of the gospel and helping students develop a Biblical worldview while having lots of fun along the way.

    Throughout the year we schedule events and activities, such as coffee houses, concerts, bonfires, retreats, service projects, youth praise band, group outings and much more.
